What Have You Been Up To?

Last week, Mrs. Troester asked students to send pictures of some of the fun things they are doing now that they have time.

Thank you to those of you who sent pictures! We love seeing what you're up to. :)

Aliyha has been creating artwork.

Ashtin has been reading.

Mrs. Troester made "Nana's Goulash", a recipe Asthin gave her earlier this year.

Here's Aliyha's cat, Maverick. She's had more time to hang out with him.

Preslie has enjoyed roller skating with her family.

Aliyha has been watching a bunch of shows lately with her cat. :)

If You Had More Time...

What's one thing you rarely have time to do, but that you can now do because you are not in school?

Eighth Grade Students were asked this question earlier this week. Thank you to those of you who responded; we had 19 responses.

Here were some of the replies:

One thing I rarely have time to do is helping my mom with chores and playing outside.
Play with my goat when it's nice.
Study foreign languages like Korean, Chinese, Japanese. Also do art!
Doing homework in my bed :3
Cook
Play games and watch movies with my family.
Sleep in and eat snacks (others said sleep in or get more sleep as well).
I now have a lot more time to play video games and play the guitar. Because of school, I don't have as much free time. Now, I get to do fun activities like playing video games and the guitar!
Spend time with family.
Watch Hannah Montana 24/7. Watch The Office.
I don't get to spend as much time with my pets, but now I can work on my homework with the help of my cats and dog. I also am able to paint a lot more and I've had a bunch of time to clean my disaster of a room.
I have time to read and free write more!
Leather working/Blacksmithing hunting knives
Read Harry Potter
Make bread
Keep exploring, creating, relaxing, and spending time with your family & pets! We miss you at school, but are happy to hear you're enjoying your time at home.
